The MADA assessment demonstrates the overall effectiveness of HCDC in sustaining paddy productivity across a wide range of districts. Although the average yield recorded a slight decrease from 5.82 mt/ha in Season 01/24 to 5.50 mt/ha in Season 02/24, it remained 28.28% higher than Season 02/23.

Outstanding yield gains were achieved in Kangar, Titi Haji Idris, Kayang, Tenaga Baru, Kuala Sungai, Usahajaya and Bukit Besar, while Kerpan maintained consistently high productivity throughout the assessment period. Significant yield gains were recorded in Selama, Merbok, Padang Serai, Bandar Baharu, Asun, Lubuk Batu and Sik, with several districts improving by exceeding 20%. Although Sungai Petani and Changlun recorded lower yields during the season, the overall performance highlights HCDC effectiveness across diverse growing conditions.

In season 02/23, Bintong was the only district with no soil yield but showed improvement in 02/24. Most states recorded higher average yields in season 02/24, supported by stable soil pH levels between 4.0 and 6.0, which remain suitable for paddy cultivation.

NPK values vary significantly, indicating different fertilizer needs for each district, and certain areas in Perlis and Kedah show notable potassium declines that signal nutrient imbalance. Overall, most districts achieved solid soil performance with minimal deficits heading into the next season.
