From 2020 to 2023, Contract Management is the main scope for our statutory income reporting, though its figures have dropped slightly. The figures for Consultancy are lower than we had hoped. Fortunately, thanks to our efforts in recovery plans, statistics for Others have increased significantly. These compensated the shortfalls, maintained total statutory income, which are MYR 21 million in 2020, MYR 22 million in 2021, MYR 20 million in 2022 and MYR 2.7 million in 2023.

Between 2020 to 2023, Endona have taken initiatives to reduce liabilities, while reducing the interest we are committed to pay. As per total figures of MYR 1.6 million in 2020, MYR 10.6 million in 2021, MYR 6.0 million in 2022 and MYR 5.7 million in 2023, it is obvious that our efforts were rewarded as our liability reduced to zero, which brought more financial stability.

ACCUMULATION

Our accumulated gross profits have gone down from 2020 to 2023. The figures of MYR (59,775.00) in 2020, MYR 1.7 million in 2021, MYR 2.8 million in 2022 and MYR 1.1 million in 2023. This was not surprising, given the global issues explored in previous sections. We have already got recovery actions going since then and buoyant that the numbers will become healthy again.
As a summary, Endona’s reports show positive trends, with evident by the three above graphs. There are some gaps that are expected because Endona is not immune to external factors. With appropriate future planning embraces rehabilitation actions, we are satisfied to say our financial management is sound and progressing well.

CSR

Endona has been a compliant taxpayer for corporate taxes along with other regulatory taxes. During the pandemic, our corporate taxes have actually increased. We have stepped up our contributions, as the total contributions of MYR 957,910.85 in 2020, MYR 1.8 million in 2021, MYR 2.9 million in 2022 and MYR 2.7 million in 2023. We honoured our social religious commitments dutifully to support those less fortunate through zakat payments.

Endona proudly follows the business leadership philosophy that profits are not everything. We prefer to walk the humanitarian and charitable path because what goes around comes around. Though we are a commercial entity, Endona always remember our humble beginnings. Giving back and paying it forward is always what we aim to do.
